The Karapiro Dam Road will be closed to remove the diversion tunnel intake bulkheads on Thursday 4th August from 7.30am to 5.00pm. There will be no access across the Dam during this time.
Mighty River Domain is a 'DOG FREE' space. Please do not bring your dogs to the domain.

Temporary Liquor Bans
On 18 August 2015 Waipa District Council approved, pursuant to pursuant to the Waipa District Public Places Liquor Control Bylaw 2008 and the Local Government Act 2002, temporary liquor bans on the Mighty River Domain, Lake Karapiro (excluding the Sir Don Rowlands Centre and any leased facilities) on the dates listed below, at the times 12.01am to 5pm and 9pm to 11.59pm daily, other than where alternate times are specifically indicated.

Any person who is in possession of liquor at that place during those times as listed above commits an offence.
